DIALOGIK has been subcontracted by the DBI-Group to carry out a sub-study on questions of social acceptance in relation to a CO₂-infrastructure. The subcontract is part of a scientific study that the DBI-Group is conducting on the requirements of industry, society and the environment for a sustainable CO₂-infrastructure system in Baden-Württemberg. As part of a forward-looking acceptance assessment, the DIALOGIK sub-study provides information on how social acceptance can be taken into account at an early stage in the planning and construction of a CO₂-infrastructure and the development and use of the required technologies (CO₂ capture and storage/CCS; CO₂ capture and utilization/CCU) in Baden-Württemberg. The DBI study, in which DIALOGIK is a subcontractor, is being jointly financed by Schwenk Zement GmbH & Co. KG (that commissioned the study) and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Transport; the study is part of a project on the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) in air traffic in Baden Württemberg, which is being coordinated by Stuttgart Airport and funded by the Ministry of Transport.
