Brief description
The study addresses the issue of social acceptance in Germany against the backdrop of (1) endangered security of supply in the electricity, heat and mobility sectors as a result of changing geopolitical framework conditions and (2) accelerated implementation of the energy transition - with the overriding goal of establishing sustainable sufficient security of supply in the medium term and ensuring the achievement of climate targets.
The central object of investigation of the study is the "willingness of the population to forego certain energy services and to tolerate new infrastructure projects for the energy transition".
DIALOGIK contribution
Based on a literature research and the evaluation of current studies, guided interviews with 25 to 30 randomly selected citizens (distributed according to socio-demographic and geographic criteria) will be conducted to identify the actual acceptance and acceptance conditions for different measures in the areas of electricity, heat and mobility on the part of the citizens.
