The decision to enter the hydrogen economy is currently still fraught with uncertainty for companies, meaning that the politically targeted dynamic market ramp-up still seems unlikely at present.
But what exactly is preventing a rapid market ramp-up of green hydrogen in Germany and the EU? In a joint workshop series with the Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg (ZSW), risks were identified and discussed with decision-makers from companies. The results can be found in a policy brief that has now been published. It proposes measures that can help to minimize these risks and make investment decisions easier for companies.
