ZUSKE

The future of sector coupling on a communal level – co-creating, evaluating and acting

Brief description

The considerable reduction of energy consumption, the increase in renewable energy sources and the increase in sector coupling strategies play a pivotal role for the success of the energy transition in order to reach the Paris climate convention agreements. Municipalities are playing a central role in this transition. Their capacity to network and interact with local actors proves to be important for the implementation of the energy transition. This applies specifically for intensified sector-coupling strategies.

The project ZuSke – funded by the German Ministry of Economy – aims at the trans- and interdisciplinary development of sector coupling strategies within a community. The strategies will be evaluated and good governance aspects will be employed. In doing so, communication tools will be developed with a participative design.

DIALOGIK contribution

Dialogik is responsible for the transdisciplinary discourse with actors from three communities. In total, 9 stakeholder workshops will be implemented.
