Brief description
The overall objective of this project is
to develop scenarios for the further development of biotechnological processes including
participative methods of gaining knowledge. The project is co-ordinated by the consultancy
firm IFOK and funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The
task of DIALOGIK is to identify and evaluate potential risks and benefits of different
developmental paths in the key fields of application of modern biotechnologies ('green',
'white', 'grey' and 'red' genetic engineering). In order to perform this task DIALOGIK
will interview experts and organise workshops and focus groups.
